1. Keep the wall clean
Before installation, the wall should be clean, dry, and flat, and the height should be leveled with a snap line; To adapt to the local climate conditions, it is recommended to leave the protective wall panels in place for at least 48 hours after unpacking and packaging before installation.
2. Design the dimensions in advance
Before installation, each block should be straightened and aligned before trial installation. After adjustment, it should be formally nailed to avoid uneven patterns, colors, edges, sizes, uneven surfaces, black lines at joints, and loose joints on the surface layer.
3. Cable inspection of top plate
Before operation, the top of the protective wall panel should be checked for straightness by pulling a line, and any problems should be corrected in a timely manner. Avoid uneven thickness, height, and splitting of the top strip of the protective wall panel.
4. The wall needs to be treated with moisture-proof measures
Due to the fact that wooden products have a certain moisture content. If the wall is damp, construction should be carried out after it has dried, or moisture-proof treatment should be done: for example, a moisture-proof layer should be applied to the wall first, and waterproof and moisture-proof coating should be applied; Leave ventilation holes on and under the protective wall panel;
5. Leave gaps on the surface of the panel
The height difference on the surface of the protective wall panel should be less than 0.5mm; The width of the gap between the board surfaces should be uniform and consistent, and the dimensional deviation should not exceed 2mm; The diagonal length deviation of a single panel shall not exceed 2mm; The verticality deviation of the panel shall not exceed 2mm.
6. The corners of yin and yang should be horizontal and vertical
The internal and external corners of the protective wall panel are the key and difficult points of construction, and special attention should be paid. It is necessary to ensure that the internal and external corners are vertical and horizontal, and the joint seam is 45 °.
7. The skirting board and pressure strip should be tightly attached to the panel
The skirting board and pressure strip should be tightly attached to the panel without leaving excessive gaps. The spacing between nails used to fix kickboards or pressure strips should generally not exceed 300mm; The nail cap shall be flattened, and the depth into the Flat noodles shall be 0.5~1.0mm. The nail holes shall be greasy with the same color.
