Wall Preparation
The ultimate finish of the panels/ boards is highly dependant on how flat your wall is, where you are fitting your panels/
boards.
If your wall is not very flat, there are a few suggestions on how to level your wall:-If your wall is tiled- remove all the tiles and apply diluted PVA to seal the wall, then by using bonding plaster, plaster to a flat, smooth finish. Seal the bonding plaster with diluted PVA. Your wall is ready for the panels/boards. Fix vertical battens to the walls at a distance of 400mm apart and horizontal cross battens at a distance of 400mm.
Remove all covering on the wall to the bare brick and fix new plasterboard to the walls using plasterboard dot and dab adhesive. Ensure plasterboard is flat using a spirit level. If your walls/ tiles are quite level, you can simply apply the panel adhesive
and fix the panels/ boards directly onto the tiles.
Installation of Boards and Panels Ensure the surface where the panels or boards are to be applied is fairly even.
The finish of the product is mainly dependant on a fairly flat and even wall.
Panels/boards can be attached directly to the wall by panel adhesive or can be attached to a wooden framework.
Panels and boards can be fixed by panel pins, staples, and screws or stuck with panel adhesive.
Start from one corner and fit a corner trim and spirit level at both axis and make sure it is straight and level. Then glue and
staple this to the wall.
Measure the height of the panel/ board and cut to the appropriate length. Cut the tongue and grove off the panel/ board
edge which is to fit into the trim.
Insert the panel/ board into the corner trim and do a mock try in. This will now give it a precise fit into the trim.
Apply a bead of silicone into the trim edge, and apply an even application to the back of the panel/ board.
Simply push the panel/ board into the trim and staple or screw the panel/ board tongue and groove to the wall.
Use the soft cloth and cleaner and clean any excess silicone or glue.
Now measure another panel/ board and cut to the desired length.
Fit this into the tongue and groove of the last panel.
There should be no gaps between both panels.
Now apply silicone into the tongue and groove of the last panel/ board and apply panel adhesive to the back and fix to the
wall. Do this until you have reached the other corner.
For the last panel which fits into the corner trim, simply apply a bead of silicone into the last corner trim and fit into the end of
the panel/ board into the trim and push the trim into the corner of the wall and staple the trim to the wall.
To fix panels onto a ceiling, always attach PVC panels directly onto a wooden batten framework.
Cutting
To cut the 10mm PVC boards, simply lay the board down with the good side facing down. Measure and mark the board with
a pencil. Using a fine tooth saw or jigsaw, gently cut the board on the line.
Rub down any rough edges with fine sandpaper making sure you do not damage the face of the board. Seal all Tongue and groove joints with Sealant. Always seal inside each tongue profile before inserting in to groove to create a waterproof join.

Please use correct protective equipment when cutting.
