PVC board is one of the widely used materials. Its essence is actually vinyl polymer, and the material is amorphous. Stabilizers, lubricants, auxiliary processing agent boards, pigments, impact agents and other additives are often added to PVC materials in practical use. PVC sheet has non flammability, weather resistance and excellent geometric stability. It has strong resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids. The PVC board will be corroded by H2SO4 and is not suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Melting temperature is a very important process parameter in the processing of PVC board. If this parameter is not appropriate, material differentiation will occur. PVC has poor flow characteristics and narrow processing range. In particular, it is more difficult to process PVC for materials with large molecular weight (lubricants are usually added to improve the flow characteristics of such materials), so plates with small molecular weight are generally used. The shrinkage of PVC is very low, generally 0.2~0.6%.

However, PVC sheets usually do not require drying. There are several parameters you can take a look at.

Melting temperature: 185~205 ℃. Mold temperature: 20~50 ℃. The injection pressure can be as high as 1500. The holding pressure can be up to 1000 bar. In order to avoid material degradation, a considerable injection rate is usually required. For runner and gate, all traditional PVC gates can be used.

If machining small parts, use a needle tip gate or a submerged gate. For parts with thick PVC plate, use fan-shaped gate. The small diameter of the tip gate or submerged gate shall be 1 mm. The thickness of each gate shall not be less than 1 mm. Typical use p, PVC has the advantages of rich raw materials, mature manufacturing process, low price and wide application. It has become a general resin second only to polyethylene resin, accounting for 29% of the total consumption of synthetic resin in the world.
